Female student approached by stranger in Niagara

Niagara police are reminding parents to discuss safety measures with their children after a female student was approached by stranger in a truck.

The girl was walking near St. Paul High School when a truck pulled up beside her and a male voice asked “Do you want some candy?”.

The truck is described as a dark coloured, older model pickup truck with a short box, silver rims and dark tinted windows.

Police are investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 905-588-4111 ext. 2200.
