Feds and province give $295M each to help Ford produce electric vehicles in Ontario

The federal and provincial governments are giving Ford Motor Co. $295 million each to produce electric vehicles in Oakville.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced the joint investment Thursday morning.
It is part of a three-year agreement between the automaker and the union, worth nearly $2 billion.
The deal was initially announced last month.
The Oakville plant employs 3,400 Ford workers.
