Federal government officially designated Hamilton a foreign trade zone point

The federal government has officially designated Hamilton as a foreign trade zone point. Minister of economic development Melanie Joly made the announcement this afternoon. She says the designation will help position the Hamilton area as a hub for international trade, by cutting down on the amount of red tape and offering one-stop shopping for investors.
