Fed up with flooding, homeowners vow to leave Hamilton

There hasn’t been much rain this summer, but we made up for it Tuesday.

Heavy downpours turned streets into small rivers, creating hazardous driving conditions.

And all that water was a nightmare for some homeowners, too. Their basements were flooded – again. And even though Hamilton’s public works department says significantly fewer homes were damaged in this storm, those owners repeatedly hit with flooding will have to pay a lot to clean up this mess.
