The FBI has searched the Connecticut home of a woman shot and killed by police in Washington, D.C. She sped through security barriers after a police chase from the White House to the Capitol Building.

Police have identified Miriam Carey, 34, of Stamford, Connecticut, as the driver responsible for a high-speed car chase that put the capitol on lockdown. Carey was travelling with a one-year-old girl in the car who wasn’t hurt.

Carey’s mother says her daughter gave birth last August and had no history of violence.
