Family Storytime returns at the Burlington Public Library

For the first time in two years, in-person programming is back at the Burlington Public Library, including a long-running read and sing-along for young children and parents called Family Storytime.
Toddlers and their parents can gather for an interactive and hands-on experience.
Nearly 30 children and their parents attended the gathering on Wednesday.
According to the Programming Librarian, Katelyn Granger it didn’t connect as well online: “for this age group, it’s a hard sell sometimes, to transition this to virtual space, you don’t get that energy and ability to move around.”
The weekly sessions aren’t just a time to learn but they provide important social value as well.
Family Storytime is held at the Central Branch from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
