Family raises reward for missing hiker

The family of a Canadian man who went missing while hiking in Australia is now offering a $50,000 reward for his safe return.
They had originally offered $15,000. Prabhdeep Srawn of Brampton was last seen in mid-may, when he left for a hike in the snowy mountains. Officials called off the search for him last weekend.
Initially, a huge team of officers were looking for Srawn, but efforts were scaled back as the likelihood of finding him alive became slimmer.
Srawn’s family still believes he’s alive, thanks to extensive survival training.
