Family of Hamilton historian Brian Henley announces death

Beloved Hamilton historian Brian Henley has died.
His family announced his passing in a social media post on Monday, saying that it gave him “great pleasure” to share Hamilton’s history.
Brian spent years as a librarian working in Hamilton’s Special Collections department.
He held a special role at CHCH News, where he would often appear in Fred Anderton’s popular “You Asked” segments.

Brian shared with love of Hamilton history through several books he authored, all to make it more accessible to all Hamiltonians.
His family says Brian found immense joy and comfort in his online community and they appreciate all the support they have received at this time.
