Family Day closures

Monday is Family Day, but that doesn’t mean everything is closed.

Most tourist attractions and museums are open, along with some arenas and grocery stores. Transit services are on holiday schedules. Federal government offices will be open.

There will be limited mail delivery. In most areas, garbage and recycling collection will be delayed a day all week. Off-peak rates are in effect all day for hydro.

Provincial and municipal government offices, most libraries, banks, the LCBO, The Beer Store, schools, and many child care centres will be closed.

Turner Park Library is the only library in Hamilton open tomorrow. It has Family Day activities planned and is open from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
