Explosives found in costume store
At least two explosives were found over the weekend at the Amazing Party Store, a gigantic warehouse off the Gardiner Expressway at Islington.
Police forced the closure of the store and neighbouring businesses as they searched for and discovered several suspicious packages at the large costume store.
Police officers, the bomb squad, the canine unit, firefighters and bomb-detecting robots combed through the party store most of the weekend.
