This year the Reel Asian International Film Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The lineup features films from across the globe but also highlights Canadian films like The Lockpicker, the feature film debut of the festival’s 2015 Canadian Spotlight Artist winner Randall Okita.

The director, accompanied by actor Keigian Umi Tang, sat down with Brigitte to talk about the gritty drama.
