The Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival is celebrating its 25th year this week, with the schedule running from May 21-31. This year’s closing night film is Portrait of a Serial Monogamist, a romantic comedy about “a forty-something lesbian and serial monogamist (who) breaks up with her long-standing girlfriend, only to discover that her new love interest might not be interested in a relationship.”

We talked to the film’s directors, Christina Zeidler and John Mitchell, about the film and the importance of the Inside Out Film Festival.
