The Transportation Safety Board of Canada says it’s wrapping up its on-site operations in Lac-Megantic, Quebec.

Investigators held a news conference this morning, and say they’ve finished their examination of the scene from last month’s deadly train derailment.

Their next steps will include the analysis of metallurgical samples, damage records, and photographs at the TSB lab in Ottawa.

They’ll also take a closer look at the viability and contents of the tanker cars.

The search for bodies at the scene has also ended with crews recovering 42 bodies. 5 people are still missing.
