Ex-priest released from jail

The former Roman Catholic priest from Niagara who pleaded guilty to molesting three altar boys has been released from jail.

Donald Grecco served a month in custody after he was arrested when he couldn’t be found at the address listed in his bail conditions. He has to stay away from areas where children might be, and is not allowed to be around anyone under 16 unless they’re aware of his charges.

Grecco is expected to be sentenced in Hamilton on December 14th.

Two of his victims have filed $3 million dollar lawsuits against him.
