Etobicoke man arrested in connection with Oakville home invasion

An Etobicoke man has been arrested and charged in connection with an early morning Oakville home invasion on Jan. 10.
Halton Regional Police Service responded to a home invasion in the area of Coronation Drive and John Laird Circle after three masked individuals entered the home with firearms, and demanded valuables before stealing a Mercedes SUV.
Officers quickly located and recovered the SUV, but the masked individuals had fled the area in a dark sedan.
Detectives say they were able to identify one man involved in the robbery.

27-year old Numan Khan was arrested March 6, and charged with breaking and entering, disguise with intent, robbery with a firearm, forcible confinement, theft of a motor vehicle, and other related offences.
Khan is being held in custody for a bail hearing in Milton.
Police are still searching for others involved as the investigation is ongoing.
