Elora man dies putting up lights

A 29 year old Elora man has died after putting up Christmas lights.

Guelph police say the man had been hired by a company to string the lights, and was using a long aluminum pole when it touched a live hydro wire.

The Ontario Ministry of Labour is investigating.
