Ellen DeGeneres is back to host Academy Awards

Ellen DeGeneres will be back for a second time to host the Academy Awards in 2014.

Producers made the announcement Friday.

DeGeneres hosted the awards show in 2007, and was later nominated for an Emmy Award for her performance.

This year’s host, Seth MacFarlane, got some mixed reviews. MacFarlane was criticized for his controversial performance at the Oscars this year. He’s already taken himself out of the running for a return next year.

The Oscars will be held on March 2nd.
