Elderly man dies after suffering serious injuries

Hamilton police are looking for witnesses after an elderly man was found on the street with serious injuries and later died.

Police say they were called to the area of Main Street East and Victoria Avenue Friday morning.

They found the man lying on the ground who was transported to Hamilton General Hospital. He later died of internal injuries.

Police say it does not appear to be criminal or suspicious but they are trying to figure out what caused his injuries.
