For Muslims everywhere, this week is one of their biggest holidays.

Eid al-Adha is when Muslims celebrate the prophet Abraham’s obedience to God and his willingness to sacrifice someone who was most important to him: his own flesh and blood. Cindy Csordas reports on celebrations here and around the world.
