EgyptAir says 2 Canadians were on board a flight that crashed this morning.

The airbus A320 was flying from Paris to Cairo when it disappeared from radar early this morning about 16 kilometres after it had entered Egyptian airspace.

The plane was carrying 56 passengers and 10 crew. In addition to the unidentified Canadians, EgyptAir says flight 804 also included 30 Egyptians, 15 French citizens and others from Britain, Belgium, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Chad, Portugal and Algeria.
