No ebola in St Catharines General patient

The Niagara Health System has confirmed that a patient in St Catharines has tested negative for ebola.

The patient was placed in isolation on Monday with flu-like symptoms, after returning from west Africa where an ebola outbreak has killed hundreds.

Officials say the patient, who’s identity will not be released, is in stable condition.
