Easter fun in Hamilton
There was plenty of Easter fun for kids around Hamilton on Saturday as the holiday spirit was out along with the sunshine.
An Easter egg hunt was held at Woodlands Park on Barton Street East. More than 400 children scoured the park for the eggs, which could then be exchanged for prizes.
Also, at Victory International Church in Stoney Creek more than 1,000 kids showed up to search out the colourful eggs that were hidden in hay stacks.
In the spirit of giving, the Good Shepherd Centre on Mary Street in downtown Hamilton held its 53rd Annual Easter Brunch for those in need.
