Early morning busts net guns, drugs

Four people are facing drug and weapons charges after early-morning arrests in Burlington and Milton.

The investigation led to the seizure of over 2700 grams of marijuana worth over $15,000. $2600 in cash was also seized, as well as a .22 calibre handgun and a pellet gun that is a replica of a Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun.

Police are still investigating the origin of the handgun.

Charged are Steven Manseau, 29, of Burlington; Dylan Pilon, 21, of Port Colborne; Jason Kent, 26, of Stoney Creek; and Jeffrey Phinney, 42, of Milton. All have been released on a promise to appear in court.
