Duo sought after customer spits on Guelph grocery store clerk

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two people after a customer spat on a grocery store clerk in Guelph.
It happened at a store near the intersection of Eramosa Rd. and Stevenson St. North around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say a customer was waiting in the checkout line when they became “impatient” and spit on the woman working at the cash register, striking her in the arm and chest.
The customer then left the store.
Investigators have released images of two people they would like to speak with in connection with the incident.
