Duo charged with violent assault and robbery at Niagara Hotel

Niagara Regional Police have arrested and charged two people in connection with a violent assault and robbery at a Niagara Falls Casino and Hotel last month.

Investigators say two women were violently assaulted and robbed after agreeing to a fee for services on Mar. 30.

They were taken to hospital for treatment.

Police identified two suspects about a week later.

Trevon Demos, 22, of St. Catharines and Mary McQuoid, 20, of Niagara Falls have both been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of robbery.
