Dundas man arrested for sexual assault in Burlington

A 36-year-old man is facing charges after a woman was sexually assaulted and robbed in Burlington.

Police say a man and woman met on an online dating website last Wednesday.

It’s alleged that the man went to the woman’s home in Burlington and sexually assaulted her. Several electronics were also stolen from the women’s home.

Darrell Turnock, of Dundas, has been charged with sexual assault and theft of property.

He has been released on a promise to appear and is scheduled for a court date on Feb. 7.
