A dump truck driver walked away unhurt after his truck flipped over in a ditch.

It happened this afternoon on Thorold Townline Road near McLeod Road. It appears the dump truck driver slammed on his brakes, after coming up too fast behind a slow-moving vehicle with its flashers on.

Thorold Townline has since reopened.
