Drugs and cash seized after officer spots suspicious vehicle: Hamilton police

A man faces several charges after a Hamilton Police investigation.

An officer on patrol noticed a vehicle in a parking lot in the area of South Service Rd. and Centennial Parkway N around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say the vehicle was on and the driver appeared to be slumped over the steering wheel.

Inside the car, police say they found illicit drugs, cash and brass knuckles.

A 29-year-old man has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

He was also charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
