Drug bust in St. Catharines

Niagara police have made a large seizure of drugs in St. Catharines.

Police executed a search warrant on Tuesday at a home on Emerald Avenue.

Once inside, police seized over 5 kilograms of marijuana, 227 grams of cocaine, as well as prescription drugs.

Estimated value of the drugs was almost $80,000.

They also seized $8,100 in cash.

58 year old Robert Buchanan of St. Catharines faces several charges and will have a bail hearing next week.
