Peel Police say a 29 year old man was found at the bottom of an LA Fitness Pool in Brampton near Airport Road. The tragic incident happened around 10 Tuesday night. Gym members say there’s no lifeguard monitoring the pool area, instead the gym has posted a sign that says: “swim at your own risk”.  The pool is 4 feet deep and designed for lap swimming. Police do not believe the death is suspicious. The coroner says preliminary investigations lead them to believe the drowning was a result of a medical issue. Police were unsure if anyone was swimming with the 29 year old and investigators do not know how long the man was in the pool before someone spotted him.
