Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they are investigating after they found a drone carrying handguns stuck in a tree in southwestern Ontario.

Lambton County OPP say the drone was found Friday morning near Port Lambton.

Police say the drone was carrying a plastic bag that contained 11 handguns.

OPP say drones are being used to carry prohibited guns over from the United States into Canada.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
