Drivers who filled up with watered down gas in Welland could be reimbursed

Good news for some drivers who filled up on tainted gasoline from a station in Welland between November 26 and 29.

The lawyer representing the gas station’s owner has contacted some drivers promising to compensate hundreds of dollars lost in repair costs.

We spoke with the gas station’s lawyers and they confirmed that their first priority is to compensate driver’s losses and to then investigate what caused the problem.
