Driver extracted from vehicle by firefighters following Milton crash

A Burlington resident was rushed to hospital Tuesday night following a single-vehicle crash in Milton.
Emergency crews were called a collision on Guelph Line, south of Conservation Rd. around 7 p.m.
Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle which left the roadway and rolled before landing on its side.
The driver had to be extricated by firefighters and was taken to hospital with serious injuries via air ambulance.
Investigators believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the collision.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
