Driver dead following single-vehicle crash into Ancaster home

Hamilton police are investigating after a vehicle left the roadway and struck a home in Ancaster, leaving the driver dead.

Officers say the incident happened shortly before 2 p.m. on Sunday in the area of Haig Rd. in Ancaster.

Upon arrival, police found the 57-year-old male driver behind the wheel without vital signs, he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
