Driver dead after single-vehicle crash in Milton: Halton police

Halton police reported a fatal single-vehicle collision in Milton on Sunday.

Officers say it happened on Derry Rd. between Appleby and Walkers lines.

Investigators say a silver Nissan Rogue had been traveling overnight westbound on Derry Rd. when it left the roadway.

Upon arrival, the vehicle was seen rolled over and collided with a tree.

Police say the lone driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken over the investigation.
