Drive-thru worker alerts police to impaired driver in Brantford

A Dundas man has been arrested after a restaurant worker in Brantford called police to report a suspected impaired driver.
Employees from a restaurant on Wayne Gretzky Parkway called police just before 2 a.m. Friday to report that a man came through the drive-thru and appeared intoxicated.
Officers found the vehicle and spoke with the driver who, they say, displayed signs of impairment.
The 33-year-old driver failed a roadside screening test and was taken to the police station for a breath test.
He tested over the legal limit and was charged with care and control over 80 mg.
The man was released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
