Dozens turn up today for the 9th annual Chippawa Polar Bear Dip!

It may be January but that did not stop dozens in the Niagara region from diving into the cold Welland River today.

It was the ninth annual Chippawa Polar Bear Dip and it was a record turnout.

Organizers say the success will be a boost to a planned expansion at the docks.
