Doug Ford to ‘double-check’ Ontario Place spa deal after Therme accused of misrepresentation

CHCH News anchor Matt Ingram speaks with former Queen’s Park correspondent Keith Leslie on Doug Ford’s Ontario Place spa deal.

Ingram asked if the Ford government was scammed on his deal with Therme, after it was accused of misrepresenting itself to procure the deal for the 95-year lease at Ontario Place.

Leslie spoke on his thoughts on how Ford’s team selected Therme in the first place, and his perspective on whether the spa is even still getting built given what has now been revealed.

Ingram also asked about the possibility of the Ford government getting out of the deal now that new details have come to light.
