Door smashed, ATM stolen from Waterdown gas station

Hamilton police are investigating after the front door of a Waterdown gas station was severely damaged and an ATM was stolen from inside.
Police were called to the Canadian Tire gas bar on Clappison Ave. around 12:20 a.m. Monday after an alarm went off.
Officers found the double doors on the front of the building along with an adjacent window had sustained damage. “It appears there was significant force opening the doors,” said Cst. Lorraine Edwards.
An ATM was stolen from inside the gas station. Police say there is no suspect description at this time.
“Police are continuing with the investigation and checking out all video,” said Edwards.
The Hamilton Police Service BEAR unit has taken over the investigation.
