The horror story for two Hamilton men held in a Dominican jail is over.

A three-week nightmare has ended for two Hamilton men who were facing a two-year prison sentence following a fight in the Dominican Republic. Melissa Raftis spoke with some family members of the men on Monday night, just hours after they learned the charges have been dropped, and that they’re free to fly home.

A trust fund has been set up to help with legal expenses.
