Dog stolen from Hamilton Tim Hortons

Hamilton Police are searching for a dog thief, after a Shih Tzu was stolen from outside a Tim Hortons on Main Street East.

It happened just after 11am on Saturday. The owner tied up their small blonde Shih Tzu outside the restaurant, and when they came back, just the leash remained.

The thief , who police believe was on a yellow and black mountain bike, is described as a white man, between 5′ 7″ and 5′ 8″, with a medium build. He was wearing a grey hoodie, blue sweatpants, and a red baseball cap.

The dog is still missing and responds to the name “Lucy”.
