Doctors acquitted in drugging sex assault

An Ontario judge has found two doctors not guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting a medical student in 2011.
Dr Amitabh Chauhan from Ancaster and Dr Suganthan Kayilasanathan were accused of allegedly drugging and then sexually assaulting the woman after a night of drinking and dancing at a Toronto club.
Justice Julie Thorburn says she understands her decision might be “difficult” for some. She says she has reasonable doubt as to whether the victim was drugged and then sexually assaulted.
