Dispute leads to stabbing

One man has been taken to hospital following a dispute in a home on Pine Street in west Hamilton tonight.

Police were called just before 7 o’clock, to the home, just east of Locke Street to investigate a possible stabbing. Neighbours say there were two people inside the house at the time — and both were taken from the home.

Although one occupant of the house was taken into custody by police, they have not confirmed that charges were laid. There is no information about the nature of the injuries to the man taken to hospital — or on his condition.
