Hamilton police have released images of a suspect who is wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store in the city.

Last Monday, officers were called to the Busy Bee Food Mart on Barton St. East shortly after 4 p.m. for reports of a robbery.

Police say a man had entered the store and flashed what is believed to be a gun at a store employee. The man made demands for cash but ended up running away from the store empty-handed.

Officers and members of the K-9 Unit searched the area but couldn’t locate the suspect. No one was injured during the robbery.
