Death at Pearson airport

Peel Regional Police say a member of Pearson International Airport’s ground crew has died.

The 48 year old worker was involved in what is being called an “industrial accident” Thursday night.

Peel EMS say the man suffered chest injuries when he came into contact with a piece of machinery.

The man was pronounced dead at a trauma centre in Toronto.

The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
