Deadly crash in Thorold

There has been a deadly crash in Thorold, in an area known for speeding.

A 21 year old woman died and three others were injured. The woman killed was a passenger in a car that left Holland Road and hit a tree. It happened around 7:30 last night. The 22-year old man driving is in critical condition at Hamilton Heneral. A man and woman in the back seat were taken to hospital, but are expected to survive.

Police believe the car was travelling at a high rate of speed, when the driver lost control on a curve.
