A Vaughan woman has been charged with manslaughter after the death of a toddler at a home daycare in Vaughan three years ago. Forty-nine year old Olena Panfilova is expected in court next week. Panfilova was charged, along with another woman , with obstruction of justice a few months after the death of two year old Eva Ravikovich.
The little girl was found without vital signs in an over-crowded home daycare on July 8, 2013.
The girl’s parents have launched a $3.5million wrongful death lawsuit, naming both the daycare operators and the Ontario government.
