Dangerous driving charges laid

A Hamilton man is facing numerous charges following a traffic stop Tuesday night.

Police say they stopped a vehicle that had been speeding down the Kenilworth access.

The driver, whose licence had been suspended had fled, but stopped a short time later.

Police say when they attempted to arrest him, he became aggressive.

27 year old Anthony Martinez is charged with resisting a peace officer and dangerous driving.

He was to appear in court Wednesday for a bail hearing.
