Dangerous conditions clog QEW in St Catharines

There have been a number of crashes on the QEW today as drivers face snowy and slippery conditions.

This crash (above) happened on the Niagara-bound QEW just past Seventh St. A jack-knifed tractor trailer got stuck in the right hand lane.

Just past that crash, near the Ontario St exit, a pickup truck rolled over into the ditch. Police say most of their calls today have been for single vehicle collisions.

Luckily nobody has been seriously hurt. Provincial police are reminding drivers once again to slow down and leave themselves more room.
