Cystic Fibrosis Walk

Cold weather and pouring rain was not enough to stop supporters from marching in the Carstar’s Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis on Sunday.
Organizers estimate they had about 800 people participating throughout the day raising an estimated $200,000.
Cystic fibrosis is the most common fatal genetic disease that affects children and young adults.
To this day, there is not cure for the disease. All the money raised will go directly to research and care.
Walks like these were carried out across Canada by the thousands.
